SOLO EFECTIVO
My first foray into 1:12 scale miniature models, this 24”x24” multi-story creation represents a street corner inspired by Mexico City— complete with a restaurant, auto repair garage, record shop, and residences. As new residents and digital nomads flood into CDMX at record rates, the city is experiencing unprecedented gentrification and displacement of families that have occupied these neighborhoods for generations. Protest signs can be seen surrounding the corner home, which has signs of being recently acquired by an American ex-patriot.
